I blame Dalis. Not for not firing Lavin but more for hiring him in the first place.  He was FAR too inexperienced for the task.

I don't blame Lavin for taking the job...you would too.  But...he was set up to fail from the start.

I don't blame Guerrero for not firing him mid-season.  I'd prefer to burn this season and get the right coach as opposed to doing an emergency hire that might not be any better than Lavin.  Then we'd get another 7 years of bad luck.
