On March 24, 2000, a group of friends created a game called Beer Plate that would go down in the annals of history. It was the game's promise of drunken good times that prompted this group to share the game with everyone.
OBJECT ... The object of the game is to get drunk (there are very few losers).
EQUIPMENT ... The equipment consists of a plate and at least 10 bottle caps.
PREPARATION ... Place the plate in the middle of the floor. Each player is given a collection of bottle caps and may sit anywhere around the plate.
TOKEN COLLECTION BOY (TCB) ... The Token Collection Boy is responsible for Cap Collection and must pass out available bottle caps to any and all players.
BEER BITCH (BB) ... The Beer Bitch is responsible for getting beers for any player who wants or needs one.
THE PLAY ... Starting with the TCB, each player in turn throws a bottle cap in an attempt to land it safely on the plate. A bottle cap that lands safely on the plate is known as a Plater. After you have completed your play, the turn passes to the left.
A player who makes a Plater may give out as many drinks as there are bottle caps on the plate. You are granted an additional turn for every Plater and consecutive Plater's are worth Multiple Word Score (see SCORING THE GAME).
The Winner of a game is known as the Plate Keeper for the next game.
Each player is a member of the Committee Of Players.
